About Tally Koren

‘Hallelujah has been chosen as the second single from Tally Koren’s new album and was featured amongst the highlights of the Graham Norton show in 2011 . It follows the success of first single Beauty Of The Duty which was played by Chris Evans, Graham Norton, Janice Long and Steve Wright on BBC Radio 2 and play-listed on 40 other UK based radio stations, all eagerly plugging and playing Tally’s fresh sounds, she and her music are  making  waves worldwide!

Tally was voted the winner of the London Fringe Best Singer/Songwriter Award 2011.

The eclectic sound of Tally’s new album 72 Names, brings together the percussive sounds of her Middle Eastern roots, with the Western World influences of progressive electronic music and orchestration, to perfectly enhance the elegance and the uniqueness of her voice.

It is produced by Phil Curran and one of Europe’s most successful producers – Yoad Navo – who has worked with the Pet  shop Boys, Jem, Bryan Adams, Goldfrapp and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Hallelujah new ‘radio edit’ version has been features London-based gospel choir Vocally Sound. The single has been produced by Phil Curran and mixed by Guy Katsav – Jukey whose credits include Laura Marling, Moby, The, Hat’s Off to the Buskers, Groove Armanda, Akon and many more.

To build anticipation for the release of 72 Names, Tally took an undertaking a 72-day project focusing on the significance of the number 72 in all facts of everyday life, modern, historical, artistic and spiritual.

Born in Israel, living in London via Mexico and the USA , her music career has emerged  after completing a long career as a model and a journalist .
